How, after many complaints, a venue still runs off 3rd party bookings that do not exist is baffling!!!
We booked a drag brunch for 5 of us, to our surprise upon arrival the venue was not even open. After waiting for it to open they told us our booking and event didn’t exist. It is your responsibility as a business to oversee what 3rd party booking sites are offering to customers, it’s giving lazy, unreliable and scammers!!!
They don’t issue refunds, we have to do it from the 3rd parties website, which I understand, but why keep up tickets for non existent events and procure fees for the business from using these 3rd party websites.
Do not book an event here, we left as a group of 5 ladies hoping to celebrate our two friends birthday with nothing booked to do in Brighton on a Saturday night.

We booked and paid through a third-party site (design my night), only to arrive and be told they had no record of our drag brunch booking. Regardless of the booking method, a venue should ensure that reservations are properly managed and communicated. Rude member of staff and no apology. Avoid.
Visited last weekend and had a shock! Why have they ruined the unique vibe this place had by changing both the layout and concept? We used to love the video jukebox and old school tunes, now it’s like any other bar with the downside of it now seeming far too small. Feels as though they’ve attempted a glow-up to cash in on the Drag Bunch pound. The bar counter is now too big and they’ve had to provide an awkward bench type seating set up that overlooks the bar and dishwasher. Bar staff looking like they don’t want to be there, vaping and chatting to mates doesn’t really create the showy brand they’re after either.
