Great to go with a group but the layout of the seating doesn’t really allow for much mingling and so it’s difficult to make conversation with new people. It’s a great atmosphere and a great little bar though. Staff are really warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend just not to people drinking alone.
Center stage is one of those gay bars that is just different and stands out from the crowd. It has an oldschool charm about it and reminds me of bars 15 years ago. Every time I’ve ever gone, it’s been such a random night and each time so memorable. The stall for absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond. When Tracey was there and I was going through some trouble with an ex she was so supportive and always made sure I text her when I got home. If that doesn’t stand for exceptional service, then I don’t know what does.
What a brilliant little bar this is, can be guaranteed a laugh and a fun night whatever day you visit. Friendly staff, cheep drinks and great entertainment what more could you ask for.
Dress code for a high street gay bar. Yh. No thanks.
