Despite its humble beginnings, Exilio had a clear vision to fill a gap in the LGBTQ+ Latinx Community of London. Since then, the party has evolved and thrived, moving to various venues across the city, including Bar & Co, a party boat rocking the Thames, and popular spots like The Latin Groove in Archway, Muse in Soho, and Vinyl Bar in the City.

Like stepping into a glittery queer Narnia—with better drinks and company, and fewer talking lions.

It’s easy to look at Hampstead Road and wonder if you’re in the right place… And then you find the place you’re looking for.

Zodiac Bar is THE place.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like Beyoncé entering the Renaissance tour—but with more sequins per square foot. The STUNNING host, Dee, greeted us like we were long-lost gay royalty and her the team? Iconic. And fast (but friendly with it).

Not only was the energy electric (and possibly slightly possessed by ABBA and every 80’s diva you can imagine and more), but the whole place radiated safe, welcoming, judgment-free joy. You could dance, strut, flirt, or dramatically lip-sync to Whitney, and not a single person would bat a false eyelash. The other guests don’t just turn into friends and dance partners, they snap straight into backing singers and duet partners. It’s the kind of place where your soul exhales and your inner diva takes the wheel.

I laughed, I danced, I probably overshared with a stranger (who was deeply supportive), and I left with sore face from laughing so much, a full heart, and a new favourite bar in London.

To summarise:

Go.

Live your best queer life.

Listen to Dee’s vocals. They slap.

Singalong at the top of your lungs.

Stay for the magic.

Alotta is the best karaoke host in London!! Had the best time here with our friends… and we hit up quite a few karaoke bars! Great friendly atmosphere and a great sound system. Would definitely recommend over every other karaoke in the area!!

Zodiac is a bastion for the LGBTQIA+ community, trans owned and operated, this space boasts karaoke with some of the most talented singers in the city. The people you meet whilst at zodiac are so lovely and inviting, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the events they have are some of the best in the city. I’ve made a lot of friends from coming here, and I will continue to return again and again. If you’re a trans person, I highly recommend this space as a place to find community and feel safe in 💕

Truly a hidden treasure 💎 Hands down one of the best nights out I’ve ever had! Me and my friend went for the karaoke and stayed till the end for the good vibes, and we got so much more than that! Both floors feel super cozy, welcoming and are full of energy.

The bar staff? Gorgeous and incredibly talented 😍 Everyone we met made the whole night feel special. It’s such a warm, inclusive space and absolutely perfect for the LGBTQ+ community, it’s a place where you can go, feel safe, and just be yourself 🫶🏻

If you’re in London and looking for somewhere special Zodiac is the place ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

The atmosphere at Zodiac is extremely welcoming; as soon as we came in, my friend and I felt comfortable to be who we are with no judgement. I highly recommend arriving earlier in the evening to get lots of singing in at the karaoke before it gets super packed (and a little bit steamy 😉) later into the night. The staff are so friendly, supportive and do an excellent job of including everyone; we spent 5 hours here and enjoyed every minute of it. What I really loved about Zodiac is that the space is really intimate, like you might get from booking a karaoke room, but you also get to see so many beautiful people perform on stage and support them too as they sing their song. It’s a really lovely place, I can’t wait to come back ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
