Eagle London Reviews

Came here for a Christmas Party and it was okay… The staff are fine but the super restricted smoking/outside area when there’s about 70ish people inside and almost 20 trying to smoke/vape in an area of a small shed, kinda sucked. Even just to get some air, was impossible. Drinks were okay, but cant say we’re anything special. Music was okay but also, nothing special and exciting, with many friends feeling it was more like a kids disco than an adult party night. Decor needs updating, but the pool table was fun.
Attended the Eagle London for New Years. Early bird tickets sold for £10. Regular £25 to enter before 11:30pm.
The bar had low attendance overall. Was ok for a low key way to ring in the new year but not worth a £25 entry for a “free” 1/2 pour of champagne.
We have come to London for a night out and was saying to my friend how much I liked the venue inside. Once inside they had good music on but drinks were a bit on the pricey side. My friend moved her vape from her jacket to her pocket as it was uncomfortable after being told there was no vaping in the venue which we said that’s fine sorry we saw others vaping. After she had moved the vape, we got “escorted” out by a very rude male staff member, he would not give us an explanation and was ignoring us when we were saying she wasn’t vaping. When we got outside and been kicked out by bouncers, we have asked for an explanation and none was given. We were stood in a corner on our own and your bouncers have made up stories to get us out, completely unacceptable as two young girls, I don’t feel safe coming back here.
We stood and spoke to the bouncers trying to get an explanation and i was getting frustrated as a particular staff member on the door was completely unacceptable in his behaviour and was one of the most disrespectful people I’ve ever met. He stated that we got kicked out as me and my friend went into the same toilet cubicle together, we did this as it was a unisex bathroom with open urinals and was full of men using them at the time, we just used the toilet so I don’t see what the issue is. They were stating there were signs saying you’re not allowed two people in one cubicle, however, these signs don’t exist. He was saying I was shouting at him when I wasn’t, making up lies about both of us and I said okay well you can check the CCTV and see that we haven’t done anything wrong to which he refused. I asked to speak to his manager to which he told me to go away and began swearing at me, to which I swore back as any person would do when being treated like that. This then got turned back around on apparently me screaming and swearing at the staff??? People like this should not be manning gay clubs when they clearly don’t want to, I’ve heard similar reviews on here and it appears to be the same staff member, if he is not sacked soon then I don’t know how you are going to stay open. He absolutely ruined our evening and made us feel unsafe in the middle of London.
If you’re in London looking to dance on a Sunday night, this is the place to be, with the legendary Horse Meat Disco serving up amazing dance beats. Add to that a welcoming and friendly staff, a diverse crowd, and excellent drinks at half the price you’d pay at most London clubs, and you’re in for a perfect night out!
We had a great time at Eagle for Horse Meat Disco last night. The venue was great – spacious, great lighting and fantastic DJs. The garden bar was very inviting. All the clientele were friendly as were the bar staff. Good atmosphere inside and outside. Security staff were very welcoming and friendly when we entered and when we left.
