How to Get There

From Waterloo Station, take exit 2 next to McDonald’s, cross the road, and walk down Sandell Street. You’ll find Pleasuredrome on the left in the archway on Cornwall Road.
If you’re arriving from north of the River Thames, you can walk over Waterloo Bridge or use the pedestrian bridges from Embankment, Hungerford Bridge, or Golden Jubilee Bridges. The nearest underground station is Waterloo, which serves the Jubilee, Northern, Bakerloo, and Waterloo & City lines. Waterloo and Waterloo East are the nearest railway stations, and numerous bus routes run just a minute away from Pleasuredrome.

My first day in London was spent exploring this highly-recommended spot, and I can certainly see why it garners such excellent reviews! Having visited other saunas, I can attest that this one stands out for its complexity and comprehensive features. The system for securing your belongings is very well-thought-out—a clear process starts at the locker, where a small coin deposit ensures everything is secure before you get your room key.
The level of attention to security and guest oversight is truly remarkable; they have more cameras than I’ve seen anywhere, which ensures a very safe and monitored environment throughout the hallways. The staff were undeniably kind and attentive, constantly making visual checks to ensure everything was running smoothly. While the intense security presence might feel unique, it ultimately contributes to a highly orderly and respectful atmosphere that many will undoubtedly appreciate and enjoy.

Very clean and relaxing place with friendly staff. The vibe was a little quiet when I visited, but overall it’s a nice spot to unwind. Speacial mention to the handsome guy in the red T-shirt with glasses, a smile from him would definitely brighten up the place. Maybe let the staff chat a bit more with customers, it would make the atmosphere even warmer

Very clean and modern facilities. And this one only positive about the place. To play in private you need to pay extra! I don’t really mind but is not my thing, I prefer it in public. To play in public the only place you can do it is the spa area where temperature is extremely hot!!!
To pay for drinks you need the card while the lockers are far away, on different floor. Ok, some people pay by phone, but… seeing people holding their phones in such a place makes me bit uncomfortable. Having a deposit for drinks at the reception would be great.

I have been here multiple times and it’s always been average. One thing I must say to any potential visitors is they close 95% of the cruising areas around 3am until 5am so avoid these times. Also tonight I went out for a quick vape, came back in to be told I have to leave because I (god forbid) walked too far away from the entrance. This place has no loyalty to it’s customers. It’s dirty and attracts frankly mainly gross clientele. Avoid at all costs.

If you’re into nothing happening for hours, you’re in luck. The crowd here has perfected the ancient art of aimless wandering – a sort of slow-motion parade of indecision. If your dream night out involves circling strangers who never break eye contact yet never make a move, this is practically a pilgrimage.
The price is outrageously high – by far the most I’ve paid anywhere in Europe for absolutely nothing. The front-of-house staff are reasonably friendly and greet you with a smile, but don’t expect much beyond that; their warmth doesn’t quite make up for what follows.
The cleaning crew work tirelessly, mopping and scrubbing as if on a mission, yet the stubborn smell of urine lingers everywhere, impossible to ignore.
You might genuinely consider bringing knitting needles. With the generous stretches of uninterrupted time you’ll have, you could start a scarf and finish a whole patchwork blanket before anyone dares to utter a single word to you. Five stars for scenic strolling, zero for… well, everything else. 😂
