Room for Improvement?
The Basement Sauna has gained an excellent reputation among its customers. Many have praised the establishment’s cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and welcoming staff. Many also appreciate the clientele’s diverse mix of ages and races and have recommended the sauna as a fun and memorable experience.
However, a few guests have suggested areas for improvement, such as enhancing customer service skills and ensuring that bar staff are always present to serve guests. Some customers have also recommended implementing a payment system linked to locker keys, which would allow patrons to quickly purchase items at the bar without needing to access their wallets. Despite these suggestions, the overall feedback for the Basement Sauna has been overwhelmingly positive.

Warning ❗️ this is sauna is very dirty the steam room is full of feces. Staff are rude and unprofessional they will steel your staff also many drags is using inside My friend had skin fungul. After we visit. Please be carefull.
This is a nice, just large enough Sauna based in Manchester, staff seemed to have improved since last time as well, a little more welcoming overall. The complex wasn’t very busy overall, but was clean amd everything was working as should.
Good choice on the bar, and not exceptionally overpriced either but I do feel the entrance price of £21 is a little excessive, I note it’s cheaper at other times, I did visit Friday evening. And as like all venues like this, I appreciate running costs are quite high.
Ridiculous set up. Pay to enter every time even if you have a ‘membership’. Allow the staff to photograph you when you enter? It’s a very expensive sauna compared to others. Northwich has ample free parking and is arguably better now following it’s upgrade. I find basement very hit or miss for action too. Poor facilities too, water often cold, no douching areas unlike other saunas too.
Sundays seem busiest but by 6pm onwards it is noticeably a lot quieter.
The two jacuzzis are quite small and with 4 guys in it becomes awkward, unless of course they’re all hot 🙂
1 big jacuzzi would be more practical
Showers are warmer than when I last visited
There was a condom and lube wrappers in the steam room which were still there an hour later
Not overly keen on layout
Overall, the sauna was great, and the staff were very friendly, especially Minas. I had an enjoyable time, but the hot tub was too small.
